The Tragedy of a Woman: A reworking of Pride & Prejudice. Before Bingley rents Netherfield, his best friend marries his sister Caroline. Regretting the marriage almost instantly, Darcy meets someone else at a ball six months before the start of Pride & Prejudice. This woman becomes his mistress. Note: This was my first attempt at Jane Austen Fanfiction. It is set in the years 1811-1812. The first chapter is a prologue, hence the odd numbering in the links. (8/7/01- 29/7/01)

Returning Home: Darcy is driving home when he hears a special request on the radio that makes him think about his relationship with a certain woman we all know very well.

Marry In Haste, Repent At; Version 1: Elizabeth Bennet marries an earl two years before Bingley lets Netherfield. Now widowed, wealthy and a peer of the realm, she has been abused by her love, a shadow of her former self. With Ramsgate in his mind, Darcy seeks to restore her to liveliness, and her love. Marry In Haste, Repent At; Version 2: Elizabet Bennet marries an Earl two years before Bingley lets Netherfield. While in London for the winter, Darcy has an encounter with the Earl that causes him to make her acquaintance. As their knowledge each of each other deepens, so does his concern over her happiness. Rated R for scenes of domestic violence and of a sexual nature. (15/2/03-30/11/03, revamped 17/8/12)
The Evening Before: During the scandal of Wickham and Lydia's elopement, Mr Bennet happens to walk into the hallway of Mr Gardiner's house, just in time to see Mr Darcy request to call on him, an event which allows for the two men to reach an understanding. (9/7/05-3/10/05)
Along The River: After an illness in Meryton strikes tragedy into the heart of the Bennets and their extended family, a change of scene and fortune calls them to London, where Society has gown anxious over the mystery of the Darcy fortune. A reworking of Pride Prejudice, set in the world of Charles Dickens' Our Mutual Friend. (completed 4/9/10-12/5/11)
